How We Make a Difference the MVMF Way
The Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation is dedicated to securing the future of the veterinary profession in Minnesota. Together with our partners, donors, and advocates, we provide support for students, animal health programs, and public education. We are proud to continue our mission of ensuring the health of animals by supporting veterinary professionals through scholarships and grants. Student Scholarships
Each year, the MVMF awards more than $50,000 in veterinary scholarships. Scholarship selection is based on:
- Good academic standing
- Applicant’s achievements
- Honors
- Leadership experience
- Financial need
- Applicant’s desire to practice veterinary medicine and/or benefit animal health in the state of Minnesota
MVMF offers scholarships for first year through fourth year DVM students, post-graduate students, and veterinary technician students. Learn more about requesting a veterinary student scholarship with us.
Public Education and Animal Health
The Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation recognizes the importance of public education and discovery in the area of animal health. Whether through support of established programs and organizations, or by providing continuing education seminars and conferences, the MVMF is committed to doing our part in securing the veterinary profession in our great state.
